  1. Mat,

Nice, this tape series has entered a lovely live period for Van (92-95)

only thing which would have made it even nicer would have been more early 92 ‘Hymns to Silence’ trax, but these seem to be the rarest of all.

The 90s albums for the mosrt part couldn’t match the 80s but the live shows at this time were very good indeed IMHO

More fuel for the park, nothing like a long walk in the sunshine with Van ringin’ in your ears

  2. Thanks Mat !
I havn’t d/loaded any of these yet… what do people think of
the series? I bet the performances are well chosen. But what
    about the sound?

Yeah DD, the 90’s albums couldn’t match the 80’s which for me couldn’t
always match the 70’s albums… largely because of the antiseptic studio
production values, which I felt let down much of the material – which makes
it great when you can hear it live.

I’d love to have more Poetic Champions stuff done live… or perhapds it
is available and I’ve not been paying attention 🙂
