  1. For some reason the FLAC version of this show will not unzip. I’ve tried both the Windows 7 default program and 7-zip, and neither works. I downloaded the FLAC file twice to make sure it was not corrupted when downloading. If anyone was successful, please let me know what program you used to unzip the files. Thanks in advance for any help.

  2. I downloaded the MP3 file, and did not have the same problem. It is only with the FLAC version.

  3. Did anyone successfully open the FLAC files?

  4. Sorry Bob. The FLACs have been downloaded many times. Maybe someone will answer your question and we can figure out what the problem is.

I compressed the files with Apples built in compressor That’s the same thing I always use. So if you’ve never had trouble before it may be something Deposit file is doing.

  5. Hi Mat,

I downloaded the MP3 files just a s a test, and they extracted fine. I downloaded the FLAC file on two separate occasions and put them in different directories and still could not extract them. I’ll copy them to my wife’s mac and see if they unpack. Never had this problem before, that’s why I was asking if anyone had unpacked it. No big deal, I did successfully get the MP3s.

Hopefully someone will respond either with success or the same problem.

PS: A big THANK YOU for all the 1969 Dead you’ve provided. This was the year I saw them the most, and these shows bring back lots of good memories.

  6. Keep me posted on whether it works for you or not. My plan is to slowly work my way through every show of 1969 I can find (and I can find most of them.) Killer stuff.

  7. Every time I tried to download the FLAC file I get “unexpected end of archive” message. I have tried it 3 times. Will try it again.

  8. Hi Mat,

I got an error message on the Mac also. I re-dowmloaded today and got the same messages on both PC & Mac. Since Robert is having similar problems, I think Deposit files somehow corrupted your zip file.

PS: In regards to your File Hoster post, use whatever is easiest for you, you’re the one doing all the work. When I have a chance to upload files I’ve used mirrorcreator since I can post to various hosts at the same time, just a thought.

  10. Mat, the mediafire link worked fine. There is no need to apologize. I THANK YOU for all your extra effort, you went above and beyond to help me. I deeply appreciate all that you do.

  11. Just FYI: Finally got around to unzipping this file set. Neither Apple Archive Utility nor iZIP could unzip the Depositfiles FLAC ZIP, but the MediaFire FLAC ZIP opened just fine.
    Thanks!

  12. Ok. Thanks. Depositfiles must have just screwed it up somehow.
