    Been giving these recent 2000 tour posts plenty of ‘airtime’ recently. Every time I go back to this tour it confirms my impressions at the time.

  4. I’ll be interested to see if he can get the words right for ‘Frankie Lee’. Bob always really struggles with that song (understandably) even when he’s in generally great form as here.

  5. Yeah, the consistency of his set lists and the high quality performances really fore shadow his current really superb work. There is no question that his performances are improved by a well formulated set with the occasional surprise ‘gem.’ As always, thanks for the great posts

  6. Small note: The name of the town is Canandaigua (two n’s). I know because I’m from there. In fact, I saw Dylan there in the late 80s or early 90s. Also, I love your site. Thanks!
